It is likely everyone has been talking about Julia Child this week, given that Julie & Julia is opening today.
Here's how Julia Child has affected me:
I will always feel I have a special kind of bond with Julia Child, if only because her full maiden name was Julia Carolyn McWilliams. That's practically my name. You know, minus the Julia and "Mc".
Her mother was also a Julia Carolyn, and her nickname was Caro. A nickname a dear friend of mine has started calling me within the last year.
So that's all have to say about Julia Child. That and, if you are ever in DC you should go see her kitchen at the American History Museum. It's pretty cool.

She had a really interesting life, even before all the cooking stuff. Have you read any about it? Also, I want to see that movie.
She was a spy! She's featured at the International Spy Museum in an exhibit. I think my mom and I are going to see the movie sometime.
