Stamps are one of those things that America has yet to design well. I remember going through my mom's stamp collection from the 60s, and falling in love with the designs from other countries. But it seems the US Postal Service has stepped it up with these gorgeous stamps for Thanksgiving.
This also reminds me of a Mister Rodger's Neighborhood episode where Mr. McFeely brings a tape that shows how commercial printers print a stamp by layering different colors of ink. That one episode/video is forever ingrained in my brain. A love of design and printing that began early?
